By becoming a member of the Association of Western Canadian States of Buffalo’s Collaborative Economic Agreement with other provinces and territories, the benefits listed below can become possible. Let’s make it happen!!! 

 

· Elimination of equalization payments ($25.3 Billion for 2024-2025*) 

​

· Membership into (WCSOB) Economic Alliance Agreement. 

​

· Economic support as per (Part 5 of the “Security & Economic" Agreement)

 

· Energy and Resources Sovereignty. 

​

· Access to pre approved Utility Corridor/ R.O.W. to the ports of Churchill to be routed based on geo-technical sampling and feasibility studies. 

​

· Added pipeline capacity for alternate shipping route for Alberta Oil and LNG via the modern World Class shipping ports in Churchill, Manitoba. 

​

· Added rail shipping capacity for high grade quality grains and other Farm products, Lumber, Manufactured Goods, Frozen Consumables, Military and Container Shipping to European and Global markets via Churchill ports. 

​

· Access to additional electrical power supply from Northern Manitoba.
